  1. Dallas Guitar Festival – The Dallas International Guitar Festival, the largest and oldest guitar show in the world, brings together musicians, fans, and collectors together. Visitors can buy, sell, trade, browse the thousands of new and vintage guitars, and listen to local and regional bands on the festival’s stages. Student Tickets start at $15, and the festival is held April 29 – May 1. 
  2. Dallas International Film Festival –The DIFF Spring Preview is a weekend series featuring film premieres, film festival favorites, and new releases from around the world. The preview sets the stage for the full Dallas International Film Festival this fall. Tickets for each film start at $10, showings will be held April 29 – May 1. 
  3. Artscape Fine Art Show – Celebrate the 15th year of Artscape featuring over 110 artists who will display their creations throughout the Jonsson Color Garden and Lakeside Exhibit Area. Artscape features a variety of mediums including metal, 2D and 3D mixed media, painting, ceramics, fiber, glass, drawing/pastel, photography, sculpture, wood, and jewelry. In addition to the art, there is also music, fine wine and craft beer and food. This will be held April 30 and May 1. General Admission starts at $10 
  4. Wine and Food Festival – Frisco Uncorked will feature 21 wineries and 15 restaurants. Wine tasting tickets gives 20 one-ounce tastings to use at any of the wineries. Festivities will also include shopping with local vendors, grape stomping competitions, music, and fun activations. This will take place on April 30, and admission starts at $40. 
  5.  Dallas Symphony Orchestra –  Dallas Symphony Orchestra presents “Mozart & Prokofiev”, with selections from Mozart’s “Sinfonia Concertante for Violin and Viola, K. 364” and Prokofiev’s “Symphony No. 6”. Tickets are $42. 
  6. Avant Chamber Ballet – Finishing up their season, Avant Chamber Ballet presents an homage to Serge Diaghilev who changed ballet forever with his music, score, and design in the early 1900s. Shows are both on April 29 and 30. Tickets start at $51.
