  1. Poetry and Mimosas Day Party Head to One Love Lounge Caribbean Restaurant in Arlington on Saturday, March 14 from 2 to 7 p.m. for poetry, mimosas, a live DJ and brunch! The first mimosa is included with entry. Tickets for the event, hosted by Young Black Entrepreneurs Networking and Development Group start at $10. 
  2. Movies in the Park Attend a screening of “The Lego Movie” at Klyde Warren Park on Saturday March 14 from 6 to 8 p.m. Bring your own blanket, chairs and snacks! The screening is free. 
  3. “A Taste of Irish Spring” HIDE in Dallas is offering first come, first served complimentary green cocktails made with gin, lime and mint for St. Patrick’s Day. The event on March 10 from 6 to 10 p.m., will benefit Deep Ellum Community Gardens.
  4. St. Patrick’s Block Party Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at a block party hosted by BoomerJack’s Grill and Bar in Dallas on Saturday March 14 from 2 p.m. to 2 a.m. Tons of discounted drinks, a live DJ and live bands. Admission is free before 4 p.m. and $10 after 4 p.m.
  5. Printmaking with Ben Muñoz Create and print your own t-shirt on Thursday, March 12 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Meadows Museum! Artist and Creative Arts Center educator Ben Muñoz will lead the project. Supplies are free and on a first come, first served basis. 
  6. Thursday Night Bingo Enjoy food, drinks and fun at weekly Thursday night bingo at Flying Saucer Cypress Waters on March 12 from 7 to 10 p.m. Playing is free, with a chance to win free beer and merchandise!
