On Nov. 18, Umbrella Gallery in Deep Ellum presents From here to whenever, a solo exhibition of new work by Lindsey Larsen. It explores language, communication and expression through a fervent monologue addressed to no one in particular and borrows from both the past and the present in an attempt to speak to the future.
Nov. 19 is the 3rd Annual Chili Cook-Off at the Truck Yard where four Dallas Fire Rescue teams will battle it out with different recipes to be crowned champions. Admission includes all four chilies and two beers with proceeds going to Local 58 supporting local firefighters and their families. Tickets $25.
