  1. It’s time for the 31st Annual GrapeFest. From Sept. 14-17, the largest wine festival in the southwest will be in Grapevine! The weekend events include carnival games and rides, ice carving demonstrations, the GrapeStomp, Champagne Cork Shoot-Off and more. General admission $8, wine tasting tickets separate.
  2. Late Nights at the DMA is going retro this month! Once a month, the DMA stays open until midnight and features special events and activities all night long. On Sept. 15, catch live music from The Hip Van Winkles, a talk on the pop culture phenomena of retro, nostalgia, and retro futurism, performances of 20th century music in the galleries and so much more! Student tickets $5.
  3. Taco Takeover is coming to Dallas! Sept. 16 at the Foundry, your ticket gets you 2.5 hours of unlimited tacos, live music and games and a complimentary glass. With a VIP ticket, get access to an exclusive guacamole bar. General tickets $45, VIP $59.
  4. Hop over to Las Colinas for Painting with a Twist. All painting materials are provided while the group is led in creating their own masterpieces. The session on Sept. 16 is a neon twist of the iconic Dallas skyline. Tickets $35.
  5. The Tony Award winning Dallas Theatre presents Miller, Mississippi. This world premiere production tells the story of a family in Jackson, Miss., during the Civil Rights movement. While the whole country comes together, this family falls apart. Runs through Oct. 1. Tickets $40-70, limited student rush $25.
  6. 6. Beautiful: The Carole King Musical is coming to town! Head to Bass Hall in Fort Worth from Sept. 12-17 for the National Broadway tour. The Tony and Grammy Award winning show tells the inspiring true story of Carole King and how she earned her place in music history. Tickets $71-$148.
