    1. One of the best events happening now is right here on campus. Works in the Regional Juried Ceramic Competition are now on exhibition at the Haggerty Gallery. The show will continue until March, when the works will be moved to the Wichita Falls Museum of Art.


    1. The Ann & Gabriel Barbier-Mueller Museum located in the Harwood District has an After-Hours Cocktail Tour Thursday, Jan. 26, from 6-7p.m. Sip on cocktails while touring the museum’s private collection of samurai art and armor. $10.


    1. If you’ve been wanting to check out Wild Detectives after reading Clare’s article last semester, here’s your chance. Head down to Oak Cliff from 9-11 p.m. Thursday, Jan.26, for Get Inaugurated, a presentation of three short plays about some of the strangest inauguration stories in history. Pay what you want.


    1. The Irving Arts Center presents Five Women Wearing the Same Dress, a comedy about the friendship between five reluctant bridesmaids. The play runs on weekends until Feb. 4. Ticket prices start at $19.


    1. If you like Girl Scout Cookies and beer (who doesn’t?), join LUCK at Trinity Groves for the Third Annual Girl Scout Cookie and Beer Pairing Flight, running from Sunday until Feb. 3. $12.


    1. Hypnotic Donuts’ Hypnotic Donut Dash, self-proclaimed as the only race in the DFW area that has donut stops along the course, begins Saturday at 8 a.m. Races include a timed 5K and an untimed mile run. Registration fees are $30 for the former and $21 for the latter.
