Chief Minister of Image Creation
EK: I’ve noticed that you’ve recently added a skirt-like accessory to your armor. Was this a decision that you made to better express yourself or that was forced upon you by administration?
Crusader: My original skirt was tattered and torn from the First Crusade, so Lucas Preble, Duke of Admissions, was gracious enough to weave me two new ones. Both bear the colors of our fine institution. Such an honorable bestowment could not be refused.
EK: What do you wear when you’re off duty?
Crusader: I’m never off duty. Not even for sabbatical.
EK: Do you have any favorite pastimes that influence the way that you dress?
Crusader: I enjoy jousting, sparring, hawking, storming castles and pillaging rival universities, among other things. I suppose those activities necessitate my garb.
EK: Do you have any fashion advice for the reader?
Crusader: “Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.” (Ephesians 6:11)
