By Erin Jones
Dedicated to Dr. Andrew Moran
I came in late,
My usual fate,
When in getting to class any walking’s involved.
You might berate,
For it is innate,
This ability to which every human’s evolved.
So in order to sate
Such passions irate,
I’ll relate the happ’nings round which my sin revolved.
A casual smoke
With genial folk
Contributed to my punctuality dissolved.
In addition to this,
Not to call Him amiss,
But my Creator so cruelly resolved
To bestow me with legs
Not much longer than pegs,
And in my genes no natural speed installed.
Haha, this is brilliant, Erin. Well done!
