1. Food Truck Rally

Grab some eats downtown at Klyde Warren Park this Saturday at the second annual Food Truck Rally. There will be a huge variety of culinary treats with more than 25 food trucks, great live music and lawn games all day. The event goes from noon until 10 p.m.

2. The Breaker Boys

Come support UD’s own Breaker Boys in concert this Saturday, April 13. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. at the Epic Theatre in Grand Prairie, and the music starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $5 in advance and $8 at the door.

The Shakespearean classic is being put on by Dallas Theater Center and will run several times a week until Sunday, April 28, with both afternoon and evening performances. Check the website of the Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre for different times. Seats start at $17.

Throwback time. Vanilla Ice is performing at Billy Bob’s Honky Tonk this weekend. His concert starts at 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 13, but get there early to enjoy the world’s largest honky tonk, hear more live music and see bull-riding. Buy tickets ahead of time on Billy Bob’s website for the general admission price of $18.

5. Thin Line Film Festival

Enjoy a five-day festival celebration of documentaries and photography from around the world at Campus Theatre in Denton, along with nightly live music. The fest is from Thursday to Sunday, April 11 to 14, starting at 10 a.m. Admission is free.

Country singer Eric Church has two concerts this weekend in Dallas. The shows are Friday and Saturday, April 12 and 13, at 8 p.m, at the American Airlines Center. Get your tickets now, starting at $38.
