EK: How would you describe your style?
MRP: I would describe my style as classic. I try to buy clothes that are good quality as well as very versatile. In my opinion, it is very important to have articles of clothing that match with a lot different outfits.
DH: My style is a mix of casual and formal.
EK: How would you describe each other’s styles?
MRP: I would describe his style as casual but put together. He has a pretty good sense of what colors complement each other well when pairing outfits.
DH: Mary’s look is classy and simple.
EK: How much have you influenced one another’s looks?
MRP: It’s funny that you asked that question. Honestly, I have never told him what he should and should not wear, but we have a tendency to wear similar brands. In my opinion, there is a distinct difference between my Midwestern style and his Californian look.
DH: She’s made me realize that when it comes to fashion, you can never take a day off.
EK: Mary Rose, is there anything you can’t stand about Diego’s style?
MRP: Well, sometimes his socks don’t match with his outfit. Just kidding, I think that he has pretty good sense of style.
EK: Diego, what’s your favorite of Mary’s looks?
DH: There’s nothing better than seeing Mary walking to class in her glasses carrying that hipster backpack we all know very well.
EK: Do you have any fashion advice for the reader?
MRP: Don’t buy something unless you know it’s good quality. It is worth it to buy a better brand than a cheaper one. For the most part, better quality clothes last longer and can be worn to casual or formal events. Having less clothes that are better quality and can be worn more often is better than having clothes that will go with minimal outfits.
DH: It’s all about how it fits.
