A favorite Charity Week tradition is the Rome photo contest. Past Romers submitted their most glorious shots, and students voted on their favorites. The three winning photos were taken during the fall Rome 2012 semester.

Students cast 220 votes over the course of the week.

In Katherine Curran’s first-place photo, Maggie Krewet wanders through an enchanting tunnel of yellow trees in the gardens at the Schonbrunn Palace in Vienna during 10-day.

In the second-place photo, Paul Fiesel expertly captured the beauty of the Berlin Cathedral and the reflection of the light on the water around it.

Fiesel created a wonderful cross section of a typical day in Venice when he snapped the third-place photo of the Grand Canal from the Rialto Bridge.
