Crusader athletes of the week: SCAC fall sports standouts

Junior setter Emily Caples was named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Volleyball Offensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played Friday, Sept. 16 through Sunday, Sept. 22. Her performance led the team to three wins over the weekend, averaging an impressive 4.11 kills per set

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Nicole Johnson

Junior forward Nicole Johnson was named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Soccer Co-Offensive Player-of-the-Week for games played Friday, Sept. 16 through Sunday, Sept. 22. She had two goals and two assists in that time period, and currently leads the squad in points with 17.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Meghan Falconer

Junior runner Meghan Falconer was named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Women’s Cross Country Runner-of- the-Week for races through Saturday, Sept. 14. She led the Crusaders to a third-place finish at the Gerald Ritchey Invitational in a field of DI, DII and DIII schools.
